Director(s) message
Quality health is a decisive factor for the well-being and development of contemporary societies. The UN recognizes this reality by proposing to "guarantee a healthy life and promote the well-being for all" as one of the objectives of sustainable development of the 2030 agenda.
The World Health Organization estimates that up to 40% of all health expenditures are wasted due to inefficiency, while of the 421 million annual hospitalizations occurring in the world, 10% result in some type of harm for the patient. In this context, the effective management of health services will make all the difference.
