IBS - Iscte Business School promotes innovation and the entrepreneurial drive as a fundamental value for quality teaching and research and a reference in the national panorama, so it has been working with all its stakeholders in the promotion of an education for entrepreneurship , offering different programs that guarantee different balances between academic study and professional involvement, allowing its students to acquire integrated transversal skills and provide them with value to develop impactful research for science, find innovative solutions to problems that organizations face and transform business ideas into profitable activities.
In 2005, Iscte Business School became the main founder of Audax, Iscte's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, whose mission is to promote an entrepreneurial attitude that turns simple ideas into businesses, both on a local and global scale, acting in four main areas of incubation and entrepreneur support:
> Capacity building (offering training and mentoring programmes in the areas of entrepreneurship);
> Incubation (offering support services for the installation, management and check-out of incubators, at LABS Lisbon)
> Local and Social Entrepreneurship (offering programmes that integrate sustainability and inclusive intervention in communities);
> Studies and Projects (offering consulting services for the preparation of studies, projects, evaluations and general support services for business projects tht arise in the university environment).
